Annual Fund (Fundraising)
Purpose: To develop and execute specific fundraising campaigns to support the goals of the MSA strategic plan, including the Give to the Max (GTTM) annual campaign. The Annual Fund Committee assumes the responsibility for raising non-grant funds to support school operations. This group is responsible for establishing annual fundraising goals, and developing annual and multi-year fundraising plans for the school that will generate non-grant and non-public funds for the school.
Leadership: Chair, with support from BOD Members on the committee (if a BOD member is not the Chair).
Works with/gets information from: BOD, Parent Team, Finance Committee, MSA Activities Director, Director, Assistant Director, Alumni, and Student.
Members: The committee includes representatives from MSA’s administration, teachers, BOD, and any interested parents or students.
Meetings -when/how often held: Usually the third Wednesday of the month/monthly.
Chair's responsibilities: The Chair needs to plan, run, and report progress of the committee.
Members’ responsibilities: Members need to attend meetings and volunteer for specific tasks as needed.
