About this Activity:

Cheers For Volunteers is a club focused on volunteering and giving back to the community. Volunteering offers help to people in need, worthwhile causes, and the community, but the benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer. Volunteering increases your social and relationship skills, increases self confidence and teaches you valuable job skills. We find organizations through-out the Twin Cities that take volunteers (Feed My Starving Children, Second Harvest Heartland, Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf, Books for Africa, etc...) and go and help them with whatever they need at the time. We have also made tie-blankets for homeless shelters and have written cards to service members over the holidays. Meets every other Monday from 8:00-9:00 in room 303B
