Speech Team Introductory Meeting - All students interested in joining the MSA Speech team, there will be an introductory meeting on Nov. 3 at 4:00pm in Room 1A.

Speech is unique when compared to other sports or extracurricular activities. You can think of it as competitive public speaking, competing in tournaments with other students from all over Minnesota. With 14 different categories to choose from ranging from performing your interpretation of plays, books, or movies, TED Talk-type speeches about topics you’re passionate about, or even speeches covering current events and social issues, Speech gives any student the opportunity to find something to find their voice through whatever category they’re interested in! Joining Speech allows students to hone their communication abilities, develop critical thinking skills, and build friendships with their teammates and competitors from other schools, all while getting the chance to build their confidence through public speaking!
