About the Board
The Board of Directors (BOD) sets the direction for the school and the staff takes us there. The Executive Director and staff run the school's day-to-day operations. The BOD sets policies and curriculum and ensures that MSA meets the requirements of MSA’s authorizer and the charter contract. 2025-2026 Board Meeting and Workshop Dates
Board meetings in are normally scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month in Building A, Room 8. They typically will last 2 hours. A workshop typically held on the second Tuesday of the month, starting at 5:00 p.m. Times and dates are subject to change. Please see the online school calendar to confirm a meeting time and location.

Board Sub-Committee
A Sub-Committee is an official BOD group formed for specific tasks but not delegated any decision-making authority. Sub-committee meetings are open, have an agenda published, minutes of the meeting are taken, and are transparent; members of the MSA community are encouraged to participate in person or remotely.
