Parking and Parking Lot Safety

The city of Woodbury has informed us that parking is no longer allowed on Woodbury Crossing and Prairie Oak Trail. "No Parking" signs are up in the neighborhood. Please plan accordingly.

With school beginning on Tuesday September 2nd, we would like to inform you at home of minor updated school dismissal procedures. As a continuation from the 24-25 school year, we are no longer permitted to line up on Woodbury Crossing, and will continue to queue in the C/D parking lot located at the first entrance in our roundabout. Additionally, with increased numbers of students here on campus and a need for more buses, Building (B) queue will now be used as an extension of our bus lane.

At the request of the City of Woodbury, we ask that guardians arrive no earlier than 3:50pm ,as a means to keep the congestion of traffic to a minimum on Pioneer Drive.

In the event that you arrive around or at this time, you will be instructed by a MSA traffic monitor team member,  to enter our wait queue.

As you enter onto Woodbury Crossing, you will be instructed to take an immediate right in the round-about, and follow the MSA staff members, as they position you in the wait queue (C/D).

Parking Lot Procedures for Morning Drop-Off and Afternoon Pick-Up

MSA Families, please familiarize yourself with the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures.

  • Student safety is our number one priority.

  • Buses require a large amount of space to maneuver, please yield to them.

  • Follow all parking lot monitors' directions.

  • Utilize safe driving practices including following posted speed limits, obeying traffic signs, and yielding to pedestrians.

  • Respect our neighbors (residents and businesses) by not blocking their driveways, driving on their lawns, or preventing their clients from reaching them.

  • Students are only able to enter school buildings after 9:00am (unless if they are meeting with a teacher, coach, or advisor). Paid study hall option is available.

  • All "non-bus riding" students are dismissed at 4:00pm. Try not to arrive any earlier than 4:00pm as to allow buses to leave in a timely manner and alleviate traffic congestions.

  • Do not leave your vehicle unattended in the pick-up/drop-off lane. Vehicles are not allowed to be parked in the roundabout.

  • Do not skip the parent pick up line, you will be asked to return to the back of the line.

  • Do not text/call/ask your students to walk down the parent pick up line. This is dangerous and causes congestion.

  • Students are required to be off MSA property by 4:30pm (unless if they are meeting with a teacher, coach, or advisor). Students waiting for rides must do so off campus.

  • In accordance with the City of Woodbury's requests:

    • Pick-up vehicles are not allowed to get in queue before 3:50pm.

    • Students are not allowed to be picked up or dropped off on Woodbury Crossing, Pioneer Drive, or Prairie Oak Trail
