Dr. Justin Tiarks has been a public school educator since 2006, serving as a classroom teacher before transitioning into the principalship over a decade ago. He is excited to join Math and Science Academy as the founding principal of its new elementary school and looks forward to the opportunity to work together to build something truly special for students from the ground up. In addition to his leadership role, Dr. Tiarks supports the principal licensure program at Concordia University, St. Paul and serves as a leadership consultant throughout the state. He is deeply committed to collaboration, academic excellence, and creating equitable schools that work for both the group and individual. In his spare time, Dr. Tiarks enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, playing a weekly game of racquetball, and watching the Minnesota Vikings.
