  • How do I sign up?
Permission forms will be available through your English teacher.
  • Where can I check out a book?
Books can be checked out in Mrs. Ryan’s classroom (6th grade English). Books are also available at the local public library.
  • How many books can I check out at a time?
Only one book per student can be checked out at a time due to limited number of copies.
  • When will a team meet?
Teams will be meeting sometime during Friday’s study hall (2:20pm-end of day).
  • How big is a team?
We will form teams based on the number of kids who are participating and how many coaches volunteer. In general, teams are between 4-6 students.
  • Can I request friends?
Yes, you can request friends on the permission form. We can’t guarantee requests, but we do our best to accommodate requests.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help coach and mentor teams for the Battle. Time commitment is minimal (30+ minutes per month). We ask volunteers to meet at least once per month to keep the teams on track. Please consider signing up and supporting this fun event. If interested, you can sign up on your student’s permission form that will be provided at school.
