Cecelia Dodge

Mrs. Dodge has spent more than 25 years as a leader in state and local educational administrative roles. Most recently she has worked for WestEd where she worked with school districts and state education agencies in many states, and has a track record of engaging stakeholders and demonstrating improved systems and student outcomes. She spent six years at the Minnesota Department of Education overseeing special education funding and data. Mrs. Dodge is an experienced state policy-maker and successful change-manager, with expertise in evidence-based instructional practices, as well as systems alignment to improve student outcomes.

She is a seasoned school district administrator, with past roles including working as a special education director in Saint Paul Public Schools, assistant superintendent in San Francisco Unified School District, and as a special education teacher in Minnesota and California. In this work she built system capacity to provide standards-based education in inclusive settings, increased data-driven decision-making, and spearheaded implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and other evidence-based practices.
