Social Studies Teacher

Although this is only my 2nd year at MSA, I have really enjoyed teaching Middle School Social Studies for over 13 years.  In the past,  I have taught at Mounds Park Academy, Hill-Murray and South St. Paul Public Schools. Additionally,  I have coached Debate, National History Day, Student Congress, Chess Club and Knowledge Bowl.  Here at MSA, I coach Geography Bee and lead the MS field trip to Washington DC.  Besides teaching I love to travel and have been to Russia and Eastern Europe.  My family also enjoys reading, camping, gardening, cooking, biking, swimming and I like to scrapbook.
