Physical Science

I have had an assortment of science adventures before coming here to MSA.  After graduating with a BA degree in Chemistry and minor in Biochemistry, I spent almost ten years as a research scientist.  This involved patent research in both the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.  My favorite part of the job was always TEACHING new scientists about research, the equipment, or how to investigate a scientific problem by creating a solid experimental procedure that would pass an FDA audit.

 I ALWAYS thought about being a teacher in my research days.  When 3M asked my husband to transfer here to Minnesota, I went back to school and received my middle and high school teaching licenses at the U of M (5-8th General Science and 9-12th Chemistry).  I have taught Life Science, Physical Science, and Chemistry and I am excited to teach Physical Science  at MSA.
