2/18 - PSEO Meeting 2/18/12
Mrs. Mooney will be hosting a PSEO meeting for parents and students on Saturday, February 18th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. The purpose of this meeting is twofold. First, it is a PSEO informational meeting where she will discuss various PSEO options for high school students. Second, we will have a panel of students available to discuss their experiences both as PSEO students and as MSA high school students who take classes at MSA.

Mrs. Mooney's presentation will run from about 11:00 am until noon. The students will then present their thoughts about their various PSEO experiences and take questions from the audience.

This meeting is open to all MSA families, but is most important for parents with students in 9th and 10th grade this year.

In order to get an idea of how many people will be attending, please send an e-mail to Mrs. Mooney at smooney@mnmsa.org to confirm your attendance. Thank you and we hope to see you there!

12/20 - Enrollment for 2012-2013 School Year
The Math and Science Academy will be accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year beginning on January 1, 2012 and ending at 3:30 PM on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Applications receved during the application period will become part of the lottery process, if one is necessary, to determine acceptance and waiting lists for the 2012-2013 school year.

If you have a sibling that you would like to attend the Math and Science Academy in the fall of 2012, you will need to complete an online enrollment form for them. Because they are a sibling, they will be given "preference" and all but automatically accepted - if you have completed an online enrollment form.

12/5 - 2012 MSA Open House
On Thursday, January 26, 2012 the Math and Science Academy will be hosting their annual open house for prospective families from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Come meet MSA students, parents and staff - see what we do best!

All School Snow Tubing Trip

February 1, 2012 at 8:00am
The all-school snow tubing field trip will take place on Wednesday, February 1 at Badlands Snow Park. Those students who stay behind will be in study halls for the day.
